11月上旬，平昌县从相关部门抽调专人成立联合执法组，对县域内所有矿点进行集中整顿，对5家不具备安全生产条件、破坏环境、污染严重的矿山企业依法进行关闭，并切断电源，其间清缴雷管200余发、炸药150公斤。
